Six Sentence Sunday: Married to the Wind

Here's part of what I've been working on this week, a part in the middle of chapter 9:

The voice made her jerk violently back into her body, her head spinning from the transition, bones buzzing again, and she found that the night was a third gone since she started listening. Her arms were weak with holding them against the wall, her feet sore with holding her up for hours. The moon had moved to a new place on the other side of the sky, the second moon hung small and dark above it, and she couldn’t see the face of the tall, broad-shouldered man who had spoken, but, she realized slowly, she knew the voice, the outline.
“Are you okay, ‘Niss? You sound strange.” His hand went toward her elbow, but didn’t touch her. She was glad; she was too full of the hum, and she felt like she might zap him if he’d touched her, that it might be a bad zap, like lightning.
